Problems with resting bodies

Dec 18, 2007 at 11:22 PM

I tried JigLibX for the first time last evening, must say that I really like a pure C# physics engine thats actually 3D.

Did notice a few problems though.

  1. Auto freezing seem to take place way to fast. While running the example "game" there was a few occasions where a box came whistling by at very high speeds but didnt bounce once it hit ground it rather just froze at once.
  2. Sometimes bodies get frozen in mid-air. Can be repeated using scenario no 7. Sometimes when you drive the car at high speeds and hit the tower, only the lower half of the tower collapse. The top part then hangs suspended in mid-air until something hits it.

Screenshot of the problem (only one piece got stuck in the screenshot):

yes, thank you. This is already on the todo/tocheck list. At the moment (this week) i have no time to work at the engine. but the week after an alpha version will be released and your bug should be fixed. (Maybe christmas? ;) )
