Ground Model with jiglibx

im fairly new to XNA and physics in general, although i have 3 years experience with C#, however im having issues with this:

I have managed to get a car object working, i can also get a plane object, or a heightmap object working. however

I wanted to create a ground model, ( which i have done in 3dsmax using fractal generation ) and use that in my game.

However, im not 100% sure what object type it should be, triangemesh seems to be the most likely however i get an out of bounds error whenever i try, is there something specific i need to do in 3ds max, or perhaps in the code to get this working?
